Department Information
DEPARTMENT SPECIFIC TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Produce module to be tested
2. Work with Interdisciplinary Studies and Biology faculty as needed
3. Prepare results for conference abstracts and presentations

Previous coursework or equivalent experience in critical science studies

Job Summary
Responsible for scientific data collection and analysis.
This position is considered limited-term staff since it utilizes contingent funding. Continued employment is contingent upon availability of grant funding for this position.
Responsibilities
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: -
1. Prepare and run computer simulations for research purposes
2. Collect and organize research data
3. Visualize data (graphs) for analysis
Required Qualifications
Educational Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent
Preferred Qualifications
Additional Preferred Qualifications
Proficient with MS Office
Knowledge of graphing techniques
Knowledge of advanced high-school level math
Knowledge of high-school level (or introductory university level) physics
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
ABILITIES
Able to handle multiple tasks or projects at one time meeting assigned deadlines
SKILLS
Willingness to learn new computer skills
Willingness to learn techniques in computational science
Excellent interpersonal, initiative, teamwork, problem solving, organization, communication (verbal and written), time management, project management and presentation skills
Proficient with computer applications and programs associated with the position (i.e., Microsoft Office suite)
Strong attention to detail and follow up skills
Strong customer service skills and phone and e-mail etiquette
